So, while I got ready, I looked through my closet, and found my cutest beige ankle-length dress, and my gray cardigan, with off-white shoes to match! I looked so cute. I said "Pablo, honey, let's gooo!" and he said "Okay, Sally!" but, when we got in our minivan, we realized we didn't even know where we were going. So, we decided to go to a Olive Garden. We went there, and ordered seven kiddy menus, because we are used to doing that because we have seven children who we often go to Olive Garden with because it bonds our family. I didn't want to be pushy and get real menus, so me and my husband (did you know that his name is Pablo?) decided to split a cheeseburger. We thought that it was very romantic. The cheese was sooo... gooey.

Thursday Is Date Night
During lunch, while most of my kids were at school and the others were in their rooms, playing with their Blue's Clues toys, me and Pablo were talking. He thought that we should have a a date night every Thursday. We already go to the temple fifteen or twenty times a month, but he thought we needed more other dates, however fun it may be to visit the temple. So, we decided to make date night Thursday, because we like the sound of it. It's very soothing. Thuuurrrrrrsssdaaaaayyyeeeee. Ahhh.

Mormon Mom, I love the gospel and my kids too, but I don't have as many as you do. How do you make it work with such a large family? Please advise.
Also, I really love the Olive Garden too. Love those breadsticks!
Love the blog. Date nights work better if you plan a bit. Maybe go to Deseret Book and find something on dating. It would help your family truly be forever.
oh, DB has some GREAT books with fun dating ideas. Of course, we still have all the EFY ideas that we pick out of the "Date Jar" on our kitchen table, too, so that's fun - and cheap! Like, bring your own lettuce and tomatoes and candles to McD's and have romantic burgers for 59 cents.
But how can you get the kids to school on Friday morning after an exciting night of babysitters on Thursdays? That's why we do date night on Friday. Except for the years we meet in the afternoons on Sunday, b/c then we can all sleep in (except for me b/c I have to get up when the baby does, of course). But I don't mind, "they'll all be grown up so soon," you know.
